The Transition Linlithgow Gardening Group has greatly evolved over the years. It has been involved in many past projects such as the Linlithgow District Allotments Society, Harvest Feasts, food education, gardening workshops, food co-ops and more. Today the Gardening Group focuses more on growing and messages that help encourage sustainability within Linlithgow.
The Transition Linlithgow Gardening Group comprises of Meleri, Sheila, Averil, Jacqi, Moira, Corinne and Alan. They meet once a month to discuss projects such as the Vennel flower display and the community orchard.
Other volunteers are always welcome. Get in touch to find out how you can get involved.
Since 2011 out enthusiastic gardening volunteers have used the flowerbed at the Vennel on the High Street to convey messages related to sustainable living and climate change.
The next display will focus on plastic pollution and the impact it is having on our environment.
Contact the Gardening Group to find out how you can help.
