Hire An Electric Bike
It is unfortunately not possible to rent an electric bike at the moment. We hope to be able to offer this service in the future so please check back, sign up to our newsletter or follow us on Facebook to stay up to date.
Electric bikes (e-bikes) are bicycles fitted with an electric motor that provides an 'assist' to the rider making hills and long distance cycling so much easier.
We are delighted to be able to offer low cost electric bike hire in Linlithgow, thanks to the Energy Saving Trust Scotland. We have a fleet of 3 Raleigh Motus bikes - available for hire for just £7.50 for a half day's hire (up to four hours), £15 for a full day's hire; and £30 for a weekend's hire. We picked these specific bikes as they have no crossbar, which makes it easy to get on and off, whatever your age or mobility.
We'll supply you with a helmet, lights, lock, high vis jacket and any bags or baskets you need - from laptop carrying cases to
pannier bags and detachable shopping baskets.
To hire a bike in your size please see here for more information.
Help to Buy An Electric Bike

Considered Car Sharing?
Even if walking, cycling or public transport isn't an option for you, have you considered sharing your car journey with someone else making the same trip?
A commuter can typically save around £1,000 a year by car-sharing, so if you like to find those travelling in your direction and watch your commuting costs plummet then sign up to Tripshare West Lothian .
Tripshare West Lothian is a great free and easy resource to help you find either a car-share driver, if you're seeking a lift, or a passenger, if you can offer a lift.
